In a statement issued by Crown, the beer brand explains that its product can now be delivered from a tap which controls the flow rate of the beer into a specially designed glass, using nucleated technology to ensure compact and lasting foam.
"The larger head size will deliver maximum flavour and aroma," the statement reads.
Group marketing manager for Crown Lager, Richard Oppy said, "Crown Lager is Australia's highest selling, Australian premium beer and so we're thrilled to be able to offer the Crown Lager experience fresh from the tap.
"It's an exciting next step for the brand and we look forward to consumers sharing Crown Lager draught in those celebratory moments that matter," he said.
Crown Lager Draught will be available at selected bars, restaurants, hotels and sports clubs Australia-wide. RRP is $7 for a 300ml serve.

*********

Crown lager is Australia’s number one selling premium lager beer and has been for almost now 100 years. With such strong relevance to the hospitality industry it is quite a surprise to know that this beer cannot be found on tap in bars and pubs across the country. Until now that is, this article discusses Crown Lagers exciting new step to help broaden their market of beer drinkers and sell more of the product. The article further discusses that new technology will be used in the beer to help enhance the head of the beer when poured into a specially designed 300ml crown glass. A typical pot in Australia is 285ml and sells roughly around $4 a pot. The 300ml Crown glass will be selling for a RRP of $7. This higher price than regular beer also promotes the fact that the beer is still premium and higher class aiming towards an older wealthy market.
